History

Safe Workplace Solutions (SAFE) began operating in May 1999 under the name Safety & Fire Equipment Services. The founder is Andrew Gott who is the company Director.

In 2011, due to our continued development & expansion into other areas of Building Safety & Compliance, we recognized the need to change our name. The name we selected is Safe Workplace Solutions Pty Ltd. This better encapsulates who we are and reflects what we are passionate and dedicated to – Safer Workplaces.

SAFE is a company that focuses on maintaining compliance for our client’s Building Safety features as its core business. SAFE provides Statutory, Corrective, Preventative & Emergency maintenance. We ensure that the responsibility for compliance entrusted to us is paramount. In addition to this, our team are well equipped with broad knowledge and expertise to deliver Electrical, Fire & Safety Solutions.

SAFE maintains over 2500 Sites on their service data base. These clients are located throughout the state and represent every industry sector and business size.

SAFE’s head office operates from modern facilities in Derwent Park. We have offices, showroom, warehousing & fully equipped workshop. We also have a second office and warehouse located in Devonport and warehouses in Launceston & Burnie allowing us to respond to our Client’s needs in a timely manner.

Our Vision & Mission Statements are vital to our success. In delivering any of our services, these statements are the underpinning support that we rely on to satisfactorily deliver our services to the complete satisfaction of our Clients.

Our Team

SAFE relies on our Management & Service Teams to fulfil its obligations on all work performed. Our systems and procedures allow us to be customer & performance focused on the job & at the coal face (not desk bound administrators), thus directing our time to ensuring all of our clients get the attention they are paying for. This translates into a safe & compliant work site, measured & transparent accountability and ultimately, total job satisfaction.

Each staff member from the Director down has a hands on role to ensure that all aspects of our work are undertaken in accordance with our client’s requirements, statutory requirements, our systems & procedures.

Our systems provide all updated job or project information in real time, this means all of our key personnel have access to all the information necessary to make informed decisions regarding any job. This includes historical & future information, scheduling, planning, full reporting including up to the minute status reports, financial data, quotes, OH & S & QA.

This ensures that in the event that any team member is unable to attend to a specific duty, then another team member can attend to the task in a seamless transition that does not compromise the delivery of our service nor the regulatory compliance of our client’s obligations.
